honors an Alumnus who mirrors the core values instilled through the MN
MILE organization. Ms. Grimm is a walking example of the MN MILE mission.
She has also been involved with the organization for a number of years
making sure that she instills those values in other students and alumni. |

Self-Starter Award to Abby Sievert, Fergus Falls, MN; this award
honors a student for exemplary academic efforts, leadership contribution
and volunteerism in their community. Ms. Sievert is active in her community
and high school. What makes her motivation unique is the creative approach
she takes to accomplishing projects and the passion she has for service. She
inspires those around her to also get involved and make a change. |

Catalytic Contributor Award to Kerry Lindgren, Staples, MN; this award
recognizes an enthusiastic adult who serves as a role-model for student
leadership. Mr. Lindgren is an outstanding teacher and FFA Advisor. He
and his students have been recognized by a number of awards for
outstanding achievement. He is a leader to his students and because
of this is helping to build a stronger community. |

Supercharged Influencer Award to Robert Stephens, founder of The
Geek Squad; this award honors the personal involvement and interaction
by a “celebrity” influencer who invests time to promote youth leadership.
Through Project Geek Squad, Mr. Stephens shows economically challenged
kids how to assemble working computers out of donated “junk” machines.
He also speaks at leadership seminars inspiring other young entrepreneurs. |

Differential Injector Award to KS95 and the Greg & Cheryl Morning
Show; this award honors a business that serves and provides support to
youth and youth-oriented programs. Through the KS95 for Kids Radiothon
large amounts of money have been raised for the Children’s Cancer Research
Fund and Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare demonstrating tremendous dedication to helping kids and making great things happen in the community. |
