	Self-Starter Student Award

	Eligibility To be considered for this award, students must be enrolled in school during the 2005-2006 school year and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Criteria Nominees of the Self-Starter Award will be evaluated on the following criteria. All recipients MUST:
	Be a non-MN MILE alumni and at least 16 years in age Demonstrate leadership principles in or out of school Show initiative and ingenuity Show a unique contribution to his/her community Demonstrate insightfulness and critical thinking Inspire and work collaboratively with others Be dedicated to their organizations and communities Act ethically and with integrity
