  When is the Minnesota MILE seminar, and where is it held?
The Minnesota MILE seminar will be held June 20-21, 2008 and takes place at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
 
  Is there a cost to the School, Student, or Parents to attend the MILE seminar?
There is NO COST associated with attendance of the Minnesota MILE seminar to the School, Parents, or Student.
 
  Is transportation provided for students to and from the MILE seminar?
It is the Parent and student’s responsibility to provide transportation to and from the Minnesota MILE seminar. Minnesota MILE can, however, assist to find a nearby student to carpool with to and from the seminar if requested in advance.
 
  Is housing provided for the students while in attendance at the MILE seminar?
Student housing is provided throughout the weekend on campus at St. John's University. Girls and boys will have separate dorms and there will be no people of opposite sex allowed in dorms at any time.

Accommodations for those traveling a long distance may be found by visiting Hotels & Motels - Near St. John's University Campus for nearby lodging.

 
 

When will the student/parents receive more information about the MILE seminar?
More information about the seminar will be released periodically over the months prior to seminar. Updates can be found by visiting www.mnmile.com and also will be sent in the form of postcards and mailings.

 
 

Does the student need to fill out any additional information?
Prior to attending the MILE seminar in June, registration packets will be mailed to the student’s home address. These registration packets will include necessary information such as Parent contact and Emergency Contact information, Consent and Acknowledgement forms, Medical History information, etc.
This information will be used for the sole purpose of the Minnesota MILE seminar
and will not be sold to outside entities.

 
 

How is the Minnesota MILE seminar funded?
Minnesota MILE is a non-profit organization. All funds for the program are fundraised, donated by service organizations, private donors and corporations. Students, parents and schools are not charged a fee for the student to attend. All donations or gifts-in-kind are welcomed. Gifts can be anything from t-shirts to printing services. Monetary donations can be any size. It is approximately $200 to sponsor a Delegate.
